Neue ABORA TV Sendungen bei Nuoflix produziert
(dg) Frank Stoner und ich haben diese Woche in Leipzig wieder richtig Vollgas in Sachen Wissenschaftsjournalismus gegeben. Mit drei neuen Produktionen auf meinem ABORA TV Kanal wollen wir Licht in viele kontroverse Themen aus Archäologie, Kultur und Gesellschaft geben.
Der erste Talk dreht sich um die rätselhaften Bauwerke in Bosnien und Herzegowina. Die so genannten Pyramiden von Visoko haben über Jahre kontroverse Diskussionen ausgelöst, ob diese pyramidalen Berge aus der Hand von Menschen oder der Natur geschaffen wurden. Jedes Jahr besuchen tausende Touristen diese Berge und lassen sich von den dortigen Leuten in die Irre führen. Ich habe mit Osmanagish und seinem Team mehrere Tage in Visoko verbracht. Ich kann ein Lied davon singen, wie man dort die akademischen Standards mit fragwürdigen Doppel-Standards aushebelt. Diese Berge sind Naturgebilde. Jeder halbwegs studierte Geologe kann dies vor Ort erkennen.
Warum so viele Menschen auf diese Lügengeschichten reinfallen, ist mir trotz vieler andere kritischer Erfahrungsberichte, wie z.B. Prof. Robert Schoch, Erich von Däniken etc., ein Rätsel.
Im zweiten Bericht wandten wir uns meinem Spezialthema „Antarktis-Kartographie“ zu. In der Zeit zwischen 1490 bis etwa 1560 erscheinen in Europa einige Kartenwerke, die es eigentlich nicht geben dürfte. Sie zeigen in hohe Präzision Erdteile, die nach der heute bekannten Entdeckergeschichte noch nicht entdeckt waren. Dabei spielen die Perí Reis Karte (1513), die Finaeus-Karte (1519) und die Globen von Johannes Schöner aus Bamberg (1515-1533) eine große Rolle. Sie zeigen die Antarktis küsten-, lage- und proportionsgetreu.
Das wir keine Lösungen für diese vor- und frühgeschichtlichen Probleme haben, schmälert nicht die Tatsache ihrer Existenz, denn diese Karten sind ja da.
Der dritte Teil beleuchtete nochmals meine Reise in die jordanische Stadt Petra. Diese zu Stein gewordene Hollywood-Kulisse strotzt nur so vor archäologischen Highlights. Das „Schatzhaus des Pharaos“ stellt mit seiner Prunkfassade dabei alles in den Schatten. Meine Ausführungen betreffen die neuen Interpretationen des Archäologen Mamoun al Nawafleh. Er bringt völlig neue Deutungen ins Spiel, die endlich mit den alten Deutungen aufräumen, dass diese Tempel keine Gräber, sondern Gelehrtenstätten waren.
Ein wichtiges Artefakt ist eine besegelte Bootsdarstellung mit einem Dreieck-Quersegel, wie man sie eigentlich nicht in einem Wüstental erwarten sollte. Auf meinen diesjährigen Reisen nach Teneriffa und auf die Iberische Halbinsel entdeckte ich mehrfach schon ähnliche Boote mit dieser speziellen Takelage. Sollte dies ein Hinweis auf sehr weite und altertümliche Fernhandelskontakte sein?
Die drei neuen Teile werden in Kürze auf der Nuoflix-Plattform erscheinen, und man kann sich diese Neuheiten aus der Archäologie noch vor unserem ABORA-Nuoviso-Sommerfest in der Pfännerhall zu Gemüte führen!

New ABORA TV shows produced by Nuoflix
Frank Stoner and I went full throttle again this week in Leipzig when it comes to science journalism. With three new productions on my ABORA TV channel, we want to shed light on many controversial topics from archaeology, culture and society.
The first talk is about the mysterious buildings in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The so-called Pyramids of Visoko have sparked controversy over the years as to whether these pyramidal mountains were created by man or nature. Thousands of tourists visit these mountains every year and are misled by the local people. I spent several days in Visoko with Osmanagish and his team. I can sing a song about how academic standards are undermined there with questionable double standards. These mountains are natural formations. Any halfway studied geologist can see this on site.
Despite many other critical reports, such as Prof. Robert Schoch, Erich von Däniken, etc., it is a mystery to me why so many people fall for these lies.
In the second report we turned to my special topic "Antarctic cartography". In the period between 1490 and around 1560, some maps appear in Europe that shouldn't actually exist. They show continents with high precision that have not yet been discovered according to the history of discovery known today. The Perí Reis map (1513), the Finaeus map (1519) and the globes by Johannes Schöner from Bamberg (1515-1533) play a major role. They show the Antarctic coast, position and proportion.
That we don't have solutions to these prehistoric and protohistoric problems doesn't detract from the fact that they exist, because these maps are there.
The third part again highlighted my trip to the Jordanian city of Petra. This Hollywood backdrop turned to stone is bursting with archaeological highlights. The "treasury of the pharaoh" with its magnificent facade puts everything in the shade. My remarks concern the new interpretations of the archaeologist Mamoun Al Nawafleh. He brings completely new interpretations into play that finally do away with the old interpretations that these temples were not tombs but places of learning.
An important artifact is a representation of a sailed boat with a triangular cross-sail, which should not be expected in a desert valley. On my trips to Tenerife and the Iberian Peninsula this year, I have discovered similar boats with this special rigging several times. Should this be an indication of very far-reaching and ancient long-distance trade contacts?
